A long 24 hours travelling and we are back home in Brisbane.
Our son and daughter picked us up at 7.00pm last night and went back to his home for a glass of bubbles and a very early night.
Unfortunately sleep didn’t come until the early hours of the morning and hopefully tonight will be better.
It’s 6.00am and we’re sat on his balcony watching a beautiful morning as Brissie comes to life
Spent the next day at bank, Amanda having a check up with her Oncologist…..all good 😊 then doing an inspection on our home….and other than murdering half a dozen plants thankfully the tenants have behavedand whilst staying in the apartment, we’ve even been taking our sons doggie Charlie for morning walks (the least we can do as we are spending a couple of weeks in his apartment) not a huge fan of picking up his doo doos though.
We must admit, he’s pretty damn cute
then up early and off to Gym with our lovely Daughter Cara…..then a lovely couple of hours with the lovely Lauren our Niece and followed by dinner (Yummo Salmon )with Cara at her place and a chance to meet her new beau……Charlie……not the doggie , the new beau ( this could become confusing) Its amazing now she has her own place just how organized and domesticated she has become…..why the hell didn’t she display those traits over the previous 23 years she lived at home 😳 then a very busy couple of days with only a few hours sleep on the first couple of nights due to crappy Jetlag.
Tom and Sandy invited us over to theirs for an afternoon of lovely food, a little wine and some lovely conversation, so nice to catch up with them after being away for so long.We booked an apartment up in Noosa for the week with the kids….one of our very favorite places in the world……long white beaches, world class food, chilled cafes and bars ……..and it’s blowing a bloody hooley with serious showers every damned hour 🤣
tucker is a wee bit dearer than Europe
and I won’t even mention the price of vino 😩
We’ve managed a couple of great walks, one in particular is a cracker along the coastal track from Sunshine beach to Noosa. This really is a cracking spot …….we’ve even been looking at a few properties up the coast for our eventual return home, but that could change 🤣Cara really has got into fitness….who’d have thought 😳
even in this weather it’s still a winner
and a decent cup of coffee is always a nice way to finish a great walk
and it wouldn’t be polite not to have a couple of frothies at Marble bar
and plenty of catch up with the kids at our holiday digs an
Lots more socializing planned for the next couple of weeks
Love and best wishes x
Good to see you both back here. Despite all the wonderful places and experiences you have had over the last 1 1/2 years…there is no place on earth like home. 🙂

How about a house and weather swap!? You’d find our UK weather at this time of year so much more interesting than you’re boring old sunshine & 30°c temperatures. We love Charlie, the doggy that is, and will send you a poop scoop!

Lol Charlie is a very popular boy and he’s loving the attention.
I will get any and everyone else to scoop before I reluctantly do it
All good here and time is flying by.
Got the new Moho yet?

Finally we have Don Pancho, we are delighted with him, we shall make a point of meeting up with you somewhere, we’ve not decided for sure where we are heading, Scotland looks likely for early May, following that tour we shall be chasing finer weather probably in Europe.
